Breanna

Breanna is a Director here at Sutcliffe Matson Law, an Auckland law firm specialising in property and conveyancing, family law, commercial law, and wills and estates. She works closely with trustees, families navigating the loss of a loved one and home buyers and sellers. Her day-to-day work includes helping clients manage trusts, administering estates with confidence and clarity, putting wills and enduring powers of attorney in place for clients and helping clients buy, sell and refinance property.

Breanna is known for her ability to make complex legal issues easy to understand. Clients appreciate her clear, straightforward communication and empathetic approach, particularly during stressful or emotional circumstances. She is especially proud of her work helping clients navigate and finalise disputed estates and trusts, finding practical solutions while providing steady guidance throughout the process.

Breanna started her career in law while completing her studies, first joining Sutcliffe Matson Law in a temporary reception role before moving into legal support work. From those early days, she worked her way through the profession, gaining firsthand experience of how a law firm operates at every level. She holds an LLB (Hons) and a Bachelor of Commerce, a combination that supports both her analytical approach and her practical understanding of clients' needs.

Her colleagues describe her as helpful, efficient, and friendly, traits that have helped her build lasting relationships within the firm and with clients over the years.

Outside the office, Breanna enjoys keeping active at the gym and discovering new coffee spots and restaurants whenever she can. Many people are surprised to learn that she spent several years living in Indonesia as a child. Even more surprising, before law captured her interest, Breanna was convinced she would become a forensic scientist, having studied all the sciences throughout high school.
