Stephanie

Stephanie is a Registered Legal Executive at Sutcliffe Matson Law, an Auckland law firm specialising in property and conveyancing, family law, commercial law, and wills and estates. She assists clients with buying and selling property, moving into retirement villages, preparing wills and enduring powers of attorney, and administering estates. Her focus is on making what can often feel like complex legal processes as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Many of the clients Stephanie works with are navigating significant life events, whether that's the loss of a loved one, planning for the future, or making a major property decision. She is known for her calm, approachable, and reliable manner, taking the time to explain each step of the process clearly so clients feel informed, supported, and confident in the decisions they are making.

One area of her work that she finds particularly rewarding is estate administration. Helping families through the practical and legal steps following a loved one's passing is a responsibility she takes seriously, and she takes pride in providing clear guidance and helping make a difficult process feel more manageable.

Before joining the legal profession, Stephanie gained experience in a variety of industries, including working for a racing car driver, airlines, and several major New Zealand corporates. Combined with more than a decade of experience in law firms, these roles have shaped her practical, solutions-focused, and client-centred approach to her work.

Stephanie is a Registered Legal Executive and holds the New Zealand Diploma in Legal Executive Studies. Her colleagues describe her as reliable, thorough, and diligent, qualities that are reflected in the care and attention she brings to every matter.

Outside the office, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her three nearly-adult sons and a large extended family. Many people are surprised to learn that she once took flying lessons and successfully flew solo.
