Jasmine is a Solicitor and Associate at Sutcliffe Matson Law, an Auckland law firm specialising in property and conveyancing, family law, commercial law, and wills and estates. She works closely with clients to provide practical legal advice and guidance, helping them navigate important decisions and life events with confidence. Known for her approachable nature and genuine care for people, she enjoys supporting clients through every stage of the legal process.
Family inspired Jasmine's path into law. From a young age, her grandfather encouraged her to pursue a legal career, following in the footsteps of several relatives who had also worked in the profession. She studied law at Auckland University of Technology after receiving a Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship. After completing her professional studies and being admitted to the bar, Jasmine gained extensive experience working with a diverse range of clients and legal matters at a variety of Law Firms.
Now with nearly seven years in the legal profession, Jasmine continues to enjoy the variety and challenge that law offers. She is guided by a simple principle: treating others the way she would like to be treated. This approach shapes the way she works with both clients and colleagues and reflects her commitment to providing thoughtful, client-focused service.
Her colleagues describe her as approachable, caring, and dependable.
Outside the office, Jasmine enjoys spending time with her family, camping, travelling, and making the most of New Zealand's great outdoors. One of her favourite traditions is an annual family camping trip to Russell in the Bay of Islands.
Many people are surprised to learn that she loves singing, and if she hadn't become a lawyer, she believes she would likely have pursued a career in teaching instead.
