Rachelle is a Legal Assistant at Sutcliffe Matson Law, an Auckland law firm specialising in property and conveyancing, family law, commercial law, and wills and estates. She supports the conveyancing team across a wide range of property matters, helping ensure transactions progress smoothly and efficiently behind the scenes. Since joining the firm, she has enjoyed becoming part of a supportive team and developing her knowledge within the legal profession.

Rachelle takes pride in being dependable and approachable, always willing to lend a hand and help ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on time. What she enjoys most about conveyancing is knowing she plays a part in helping clients achieve important milestones, particularly the excitement of purchasing a home.

Her legal career began in Auckland, where she worked for an immigration law firm after completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration. After moving to Palmerston North, she joined a law firm as a receptionist before quickly progressing to Legal Secretary, managing conveyancing matters from the unconditional stage through to settlement. After returning to Auckland, she spent several years working in migrant support and business support roles before deciding to return to the legal profession and continue building her career at Sutcliffe Matson Law.

Rachelle holds a Bachelor's degree in Travel Management from the Philippines and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from New Zealand. Her diverse professional background has given her strong client service skills and the ability to adapt to a wide range of situations and people.

Her colleagues describe her as efficient, committed, and fun-loving, qualities that contribute to the positive and supportive environment she enjoys being part of.

Outside the office, Rachelle spends much of her time with her two children, making the most of family outings to playgrounds, the zoo, and local attractions. She also enjoys attending church, cooking for her family, and trying her hand at baking treats for her children's lunchboxes. While she jokingly admits she considers herself a talented singer in the shower, she prefers to keep her talent hidden.
